How do I pay for service?

Your credit card will be authorized (not charged) for the estimated time reserved at the time your reservation is confirmed. After service is completed, your credit card used to authorize the service is charged for the actual time used. Full credit is provided if the reservation is cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.

 

How long can I use my driver?

Your driver is yours for however long you desire the service. If you require a driver longer than an 8 hour shift, please call our office to schedule the appointment.

 

When does billable time start?

Billable time starts after driver arrives at the address you designated for pick up. Our drivers will arrive about 10 minutes prior to start time. They will also collect the valid registration and insurance cards for the vehivle being operated.

 

How do I get billed?

Our fees are generally 3-4 hour minimum at the rate of $35 per hour. The fees are billed at hourly rate and minimum increments of 15 minutes.

 

What happens to my car?

Your driver remains with your car for the entire service period. When you send a request via cell phone or text message to your driver, your car will be ready to pick you up at the entrance of your location, ready to transport you to your next destination.

 

If my meeting or engagement finishes earlier or later than expectd, how do I contact my driver?

You may contact your driver to inform them of your changes via voice mail or text to their cell phone.

 

What is standard attire for my driver?

The driver’s attire is at the clients request. Typically a black polo sport shirt and slacks are worn upon request for casual attire. Upon request for formal attire is a black sport coat or suit.

 

Can I reserve the same driver whenever I use Best Ride?

Yes, you may request the same driver and we will make every effort to ensure your request is accommodated whernever possible.

 

Should I tip my driver?

Best Ride does not add gratuity to our service fee, nor do you have to pay sales tax. Tipping is appreciated but completely voluntary at client’s discretion. Industry standard is 15-25%.

 

What do I do if I need to cancel my reservation?

You may cancel your reservation without penalty up to 24 in advance. You will be charged a 3 hour minimum fee for any cancellation made within the 8 hours of reserved time.

 

How far in advance can I make a reservation?

All reservations should be made 24 hours in advance, but can be made up to 3 months in advance.

 

What about insurance?

The driver operates under the insurance policy assigned to the vehicle to guarantee that you are fully protected under the permissive clause.
